We brought Venetia in from the freezing streets in the heart of winter with newborn kittens. She wasn’t hard to get as she was absolutely starving and her and the bubs had a heavy parasite burden and wouldn’t have survived much longer. Despite her condition and theirs she put every once of energy into feeding and caring for her babies and all but one bub (Tiny Teddy) survived and have grown into loving and strong kittens.
Venetia is a tiny little girl, she was quite bonded to another boy we brought in with her however he was owned (yet fathered her offspring, now desexed!) and picked up by his owner.
She has since become friends with Chianti who she co-raised her kittens with (read Chiantis profile) and she will need another outgoing cat to bond to (or adopted with Chianti).
Venetia needs an owner with the time, energy and dedication to continue her socialisation to see her grow into the confident beautiful cat she is. She is very timid and scared after everything she’s been through and has so much love to give. Support will be given from our team of cat experts along the way to ensure her owner is supported and guided – through our Scaredy Pants Program.
She is the sweetest and most gentle little girl with a lot of love to give. She is fond of her foster parents and loves her nighttime pats and head massage. She is very timid but will flourish in due course in the right home with the right loving owner. She has also requested a home that will continue to provide her liquid treats as she loooves these!
